Do any of you need wisdom? Ask God for it. He is generous and enjoys giving to everyone. So He will give you wisdom. – (James 1:5, ERV)

But anyone who needs wisdom should ask God, whose very nature is to give to everyone without a second thought, without keeping score. Wisdom will certainly be given to those who ask. – (James 1:5, CEB)

If you don’t have all the wisdom needed for this journey, then all you have to do is ask God for it and God will grant all that you need. He gives lavishly and never scolds you for asking. – (James 1:5, VOICE)

I am so grateful that God does not grow weary of us asking for answers when we are uncertain, as life requires much wisdom to navigate well. There are so many areas of new that come along in our daily lives, that without Him, we would be walking in the dark. However, when God is with us, His Spirit leads and guides us, as we so often know which way we are meant to go, as our hearts and minds know that which aligns with His good and perfect will. May we ever seek the Lord for wisdom and direction where we need His navigation, and trust His heart within us when we already know the way that He is calling us to go.

We all need wisdom, The Wisdom We Seek

To live this life well;

And as we choose ask,

His way, God shall tell.

He does not withhold,

The wisdom we seek;

But gives lavishly,

He’s faithful to speak.

He speaks to our hearts,

And to us makes known;

The answers we need,

As His love is shown.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You that You are faithful to answer as we ask for wisdom. Thank You that You do not withhold nor keep score, but rather You lavishly give as we ask. Forgive us for not seeking You in spaces where we need Your wisdom the most, and teach us to trust You more so that we would turn to You for the wisdom to navigate according to Your good and perfect will. Show us how to love those around us in a way that is wise and encourages each person we encounter. May many come into a lasting relationship with You. Be glorified O God, as we seek You for wisdom in all things, as You are the answer we need to navigate our days in strength and love. Amen.

You made me; You created me. Now give me the sense to follow Your commands. – (Psalm 119:73, NLT)

With Your hands You made me and helped me become what I am. Now help me understand Your commands. – (Psalm 119:73, ERV)

Because we are His created, we can seek the Lord and ask Him which way we are meant to go. As we ask, He answers, for God is faithful to meet us as we seek Him. Wisdom from the Lord is required to know how to follow His will and walk in His way. Let us seek God, the Giver of light and life, to grant us guidance to understand and obey His commands.

Lord, You have made me,Delivering Dreams

Crafted by Your hands;

I need Your wisdom,

To obey Your plans.

Help me understand,

Your will, and not mine;

Help me to obey,

May my heart align.

Please lead me, O Lord,

In all that I do;

So my words and deeds,

Bring honor to You.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You that You created me – that You designed me with Your own hands. Thank You that You have a plan and a purpose for each of us. Thank You that as we ask, You grant us wisdom and understanding to know how to follow Your commands and walk upright before You. Forgive us for not asking, or for neglecting to do that which we know is the way we are meant to go. Teach us to trust You more, so that we would seek You for wisdom and strength, to know Your will and obey. Show us how to love those around us in a way that honors You. May many come into a lasting relationship with You. Be glorified O God, as we seek You for understanding to know the ways we are meant to go. Amen.

Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad. – 1 Chronicles 16:31

Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened. – (Matthew 7:7-8, NLT)

Continue to ask, and God will give to you. Continue to search, and you will find. Continue to knock, and the door will open for you. Yes, whoever continues to ask will receive. Whoever continues to look will find. And whoever continues to knock will have the door opened for them. – (Matthew 7:7-8, ERV)

Sometimes I forget that the way to walk in His will and see hopes and dreams that He has planted come to fruition, involves first and foremost, our faithful pursuit of Him. It is easy to get so caught up in all of the things that need to be done to get from here to there, that we neglect our need to seek and ask our Savior what we ought to do next. He opens the doors that lead the direction to which we are called. If we are not asking, it is equally likely that we are not listening for answers. God has promised to hear all who call on His Name, and be found by all who seek Him. May we go forth this day, seeking and asking for the answers that our hearts need to know; for He is faithful to hear us and respond according to His good and perfect will.

Lord, teach us to ask,Asking for Amazing Answers

You’re faithful to hear;

You give us good gifts,

As we choose draw near.

It is through seeking,

That we truly find;

God, You are waiting,

You’re loving and kind.

Keep knocking on doors,

That He leads us to;

And watch them open,

As His path’s pursued.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You that as we ask, You answer. Thank You that when we seek You, You are found. Thank You that You open the doors that we are meant to walk through as we move forward in the direction to which we feel called. Forgive us for not seeking or asking when we need answers and Your help. Teach us to trust You more so that we would come to You in all things and at all times, knowing that You are faithful to hear us and help us, opening the doors that we are meant to walk through. Show us how to love those around us in a way that demonstrates Your goodness and faithfulness. May many come into a lasting relationship with You. Be glorified O God, as we seek and ask and knock on the doors that appear before us, trusting You to lead us where we are meant to go. Amen.

Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. – James 5:13

Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust Him, and He will help you. – (Psalm 37:5, NLT)

When we position ourselves in a place of trusting the Lord in all that we do, and commit all of our ways to Him, we listen for His leading and walk in His way. As we choose to trust, God is faithful, and He is our hope and our help. He is with us and will never leave us nor forsake us. May we commit all that we do unto the Lord, placing our trust in Him; for He is our Source of help in all things and at all times.

We must choose commit,Compassion in Confrontations

all that we will do;

unto Jesus Christ,

He will see us through.

When we place our trust,

He’s our help indeed;

He hears our requests,

and meets all our needs.

Let all that we do,

be given to Him;

for He is faithful,

to come enter in.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You that as we commit everything we do to You, and trust You, You are our help. Thank You that You hear our every cry, and You are faithful to answer, as You know our needs before we even ask, and Your timing is perfect, despite how we feel. Forgive us for our lack of patience and trust when the waters rise, and teach us to know and understand that despite what we see, You are in control, and we can trust You completely. Lead us to love others with the same grace and faithfulness that You give to us. May many come into a lasting relationship with You. Be glorified O God, as we commit all that we do unto You, and trust You completely in all things and at all times. Amen.

And the Lord said, “I will cause all My goodness to pass in front of you.” – Exodus 33:19

Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other. – (Romans 12:10, NLT)

To love each other with genuine affection, is to choose to love free from pretense, in all sincerity, devoted to love as Christ loves us. In doing so, to take delight in honoring each other, is to find joy in holding one another in high esteem, and valuing and respecting each other. This is only possible if we receive the love that Christ freely gives unto us, so that we in turn, are able to give it away. May we make the choice to love one another in all sincerity, and take joy in honoring others above ourselves.

Love without pretense,The Look of Love 2

in sincerity;

delighted to love,

as Christ has loved me.

May my affection,

be grounded in Him;

devoted to love,

set free from my sin.

Now able to find,

His joy and delight;

in seeing others,

through His holy light.

Each has great value,

because He has made;

all with a purpose,

to walk in His way.

Help me to love well,

to honor, esteem;

to love as I’m loved,

show them what love means.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You that You love us with Your genuine affection, and that You delight in each of us. Thank You that You give us the capacity to love as we are loved through the gift of Your Holy Spirit within us. Forgive us for not sincerely loving those around us, or for failing to value or respect those in whom You delight. Teach us to trust You more, so that we would view all people through Your lens, and delight in honoring one another. Lead us to love others with the same genuine affection that You show unto us. May many come into a lasting relationship with You. Be glorified O God, as we love as You love us, and take delight in honoring one another. Amen.
