Trust in His Name

Those who know Your Name trust in You, for You, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for You. – (Psalm 9:10, NLT)

Lord, those who know Your Name come to You for protection. And when they come, You do not leave them without help. – (Psalm 9:10, ERV)

Those who know Your Name will rely on You, for You, O Eternal One, have not abandoned those who search for You. – (Psalm 9:10, VOICE)

When we trust in the Lord and seek Him for help, He will never leave us nor forsake us. We can rely on the Lord for protection and provision, for He is faithful and does not abandon those who are faithful to call on His Name. This does not mean that our walk will be easy and without struggle or setback, but it means that the Lord promises to be present if we will place our trust in Him. His presence is enough. He sustains us when we are out of strength, grants us wisdom when we know not which way we are meant to go, and He is our constant companion when the loneliness begins to feel unbearable. May we trust in the Lord and call on His Name, for He is faithful to be present and will be our help when we seek Him.

When we know the Lord,The Power of His Name

in His Name we trust;

for He is faithful,

strong, loving and just.

Our help and our hope,

when we seek His face;

He comes and covers,

our hearts with His grace.

The Lord shall supply,

when going gets tough;

if we call on Him,

we find He’s enough.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You that when we know You we can trust in You and call on You, for You do not abandon those who search for You. Thank You that when we seek You, we find You. Thank You that You are our help and our hope, despite what we might see. Thank You that You never leave us nor forsake us. Forgive us for not trusting You enough to come to You in all things. Teach us to trust You more, so that we would call on Your Name and trust in Your unfailing love. Show us how to love others in such a way, that we demonstrate Your faithfulness through how we love. May many come into a lasting relationship with You. Be glorified O God, as we trust in You and seek You in all things, knowing that You are faithful forever. Amen.
