I pray that God, the Source of all hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in Him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. – (Romans 15:13, NLT)

I pray that the God who gives hope will fill you with much joy and peace as you trust in Him. Then you will have more and more hope, and it will flow out of you by the power of the Holy Spirit. – (Romans 15:13, ERV)

As we trust in God, He grants us hope and fills our hearts with joy and peace. The more we hold fast to the truth of His word, the more freely it flows from us to others. The Holy Spirit within, equips and empowers us to have confidence in the hope that we hold in Christ. Our joy and peace are not dependent on what is around us, but rather on He who dwells within us. May we place our trust in the God of all hope, as He will fill us with joy and peace – simply because we have chosen to trust in Him. Give praise for the confident hope that shall come by His Spirit, because we have chosen Christ.

For God who gives hope,Enter With Thanksgiving

shall fill us with joy;

and peace by His grace,

when trust we employ.

God’s Holy Spirit,

by His power gives;

to us, lasting hope,

that forever lives.

All praise be to God,

from whom blessings flow;

all thanks to the One,

whose love helps us grow.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You that You are the Source of all hope. Thank You that You fill us completely with joy and peace as we trust in You. Thank You that You grow Your hope within us more and more, by the power of Your Holy Spirit dwelling in our hearts. Forgive us for losing sight of our Source of hope, and allowing our joy and peace to be hidden in the shadows of our own struggles. Teach us to trust You more, so that we would not allow our circumstances to dictate what lasts in our hearts – as when we trust in You, joy and peace are ours in spite of our struggles. Show us how to love others in such a way, that they too may see the hope we have in You as our Source of joy and peace, even when it makes no sense for us to have either. May many come into a lasting relationship with You. Be exalted O God, as we trust in You completely, and allow Your joy and peace to flood our hearts as You grow the hope within us more and more. Amen.
