Christ with us, is far more than we could have hoped or imagined. The power of the living God who gives life and breath to all, is at work in all who choose to call on His Name. Though our human capacity is limited in and of itself, God’s is not. He can do immeasurably more than we could ever hope or imagine when we choose to place our trust in Him.

With God’s power working in us, He can do much, much more than anything we can ask or think of. – (Ephesians 3:20, NLT)

God in us, by the power of His Holy Spirit, whom He sent to dwell in the hearts of all who believe, can strengthen, encourage, empower and lead us to where we would have never opted to go, where we see what we could never have imagined possible. He moves in ways we could not even dream up, and makes possible, the seemingly impossible things. May we choose to trust in God and His power, rather than in what we can see, and allow our hope in what we know to be true, lead us to wait in eager anticipation for what God alone will do.

The power of God,butterfly vida

at work within us;

can do so much more,

because of Jesus.

He came and made way,

where there had been none;

the most perfect gift,

when God sent His Son.

His Spirit within,

can do so much more;

than what we can see,

or have known before.

May we choose to trust,

in He who can do;

far more than we hope,

to help and make new.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You that Your power is working in all who have placed their trust in You. Thank You that You can do far more than anything that we could ask or imagine. Thank You that You always have the very best for us in mind, even when we cannot see it. Forgive us for our fears and doubts when we are stuck in the throes of the storms. Teach us to trust You more, so that we would rest secure in the assurance that You are in control and that You are working on our behalf, even when we cannot see evidence of what You are doing. Lead us to love others in a way that encourages and empowers them to be their best selves. May many come into a lasting relationship with You. Be glorified O God, as we trust Your power working within us, and go forth in faith, knowing that the best is yet to come. Amen.
