The Path to Peace is Trust

To trust in the Lord,

means with the whole heart;

be not divided,

have faith from the start.

For storms, they will rage,

as they always do;

take heart, trust in Him,

God is always true.

When fear rises up,

as we face unknown;

look to Christ Jesus,

Whose way will be shown.

For His ways are best,

far beyond what’s seen;

only through His eyes,

He reveals unseen.

No matter what comes,

His hold will not fail;

as we turn to Him,

His best shall prevail.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your path straight.”

– (Proverbs 3:5-6)

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You that when the unseen, unknown, and things not understood come our way and cause fear, You are with us and will lead us and guide us – we need only to trust in You.  Thank You that as we place our trust in You, faith rises up and peace comes, regardless of the seeming impossibility before us.  Forgive us for looking anywhere other than unto You, and grow our faith so that we will forever trust in You.  May our willing obedience, even in the unknown or in the face of adversity, allow others a clear view of You.  May eyes be opened and hearts made true, as those who have been lost, come to depend on You.  We trust You, Lord, far beyond what our eyes can see or our hearts conceive.  Amen.

  1. Thankyou for this message, as I have serious deep rooted trust issues, where I knew totally I was loving, but feeling loved back, is something I struggle with. Inspite of all the amazing peeps in my life who have given me no-reason to distrust. I acted upon the distrust without enough thought, I do 100% trust the Lord, but I was thinking of other people who do not have faith, maybe they still wish for some justice. As the crumb trail of horror followed me for some time, I worried I was maybe the only one who could initiate it was me. Over worrying and over thinking again 😦 Sorry and Thankyou for showing your wisdom and patience and love…Love DAwny

    • Dear Dawny,
      Trust is a challenging thing, as people are flawed and break trust. I am so thankful that God is ALWAYS trustworthy, even when we cannot see the outcome.
      Blessings as you continue to trust in Him, the One who is always faithful, even when we are faithless.
      ❤ Shannon
